While we enjoy our summer holidays, they are in the middle of their winter break and even had snow!
On 5th and 6th April the German CECC Regatta was sailed. In spite of very cold temperature, rainy weather on Saturday and a very frosty Baltic Sea 36 Cadets from Germany, Poland and Czech Republic participated and where rewarded by sunny weather and good sailing conditions on Sunday. The races were dominated by a fight between one Czech and two Polish boats for the first three places. At the end the Czech boat Jiri Paruzek and Katerina Hálová could win the event.
On 8th February 2008 ISAF gave formal interpretations as to certain rules applicable to wooden boats built between 1974 and 1994. The questions and ISAF's answers are on the Measurement and Rules pages.
